Come and join us in Dundee on Saturday 26 September to sing a concert of favourite choral pieces in the magnificent Caird Hall, accompanied by the wonderful 1923 Harrison & Harrison organ! Our 2026 event features guest director Frikki Walker, organist at St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow, with Perth-born Andrew Forbes at the organ.

We’ll be singing an exciting programme of choral classics including:

Five Mystical Songs (Ralph Vaughan Williams)

Blest pair of sirens (CHH Parry)

Hear my words, ye people (CHH Parry)

The hall will be open for registration from 1230, when tea and coffee will be available for singers. We will rehearse between 1330 and 1715, with a break in the middle. The informal performance will take place at 1900. The hall café-bar will be open afterwards, allowing you to socialise with fellow singers and with Frikki, Andrew and the FOCHO team.

There’s plenty of time between the rehearsal and the performance for you to find a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants. The hall is right in the centre of Dundee.

Singers’ places cost £25 each (£22 for FOCHO members, £5 for students and schoolchildren).
