Summer Organ recital: Tiffany Vong

Tiffany Vong joins us for the second of four summer concerts for 2022 presented by Leisure & Culture Dundee and supported by FOCHO.

Help us celebrate the tenth anniversary of FOCHO by supporting our four excitingly varied ‘Town Hall’ style programmes showing off the Caird Hall’s fantastic Harrison and Harrison organ in all its glory… from gentle strings and lyrical flutes, to the mighty trumpets and trombones, it is truly ‘the finest concert organ in Scotland!’

All concerts last approximately one hour, with the opportunity to meet the artist in the cafe bar after the performance.

Tiffany Vong
Originally from Hong Kong, Tiffany Vong is an organist, harpsichordist and choral conductor based in Glasgow. She is the Organist and Director of Music of Jordanhill Parish Church, where she directs the Church, Community and Liturgical Choirs. She is also Musical Director of Cunninghame Choir and Choral Music Assistant at St Aloysius’ College. Tiffany studied Music with an organ scholarship at Oriel College, Oxford and pursued postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying organ with David Hamilton and harpsichord with Jan Waterfield. Her studies at the RCS were generously supported by the RCS Trust and ABRSM. Tiffany was highly commended for the Governors’ Recital Prize for Keyboard, commended for the Bach Prize, and was awarded the British Reserve Insurance Prize for Early Music. Tiffany completed a Masters in Historically Informed Performance Practice at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of John Butt. She is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists and a Trustee of the Glasgow Society of Organists.
