The instrument in the Caird Hall is the only Scottish instrument to feature in Fugue State Films’ magnificent new CD and DVD set The English Organ. Introduced by virtuoso player and educator Daniel Moult, who has worked with FOCHO on many education projects, this is the definitive survey of the history and development of the pipe organ by English manufacturers. It features 23 other organs in the UK, including famous places such as King’s College, Cambridge and Coventry Cathedral and organs of important historical significance such as St Bartholomew’s Armley and St James’s Bermondsey. There are also visits to instruments in the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
