Our biennial Organathon was held on 23 February 2019. As usual, it featured a wide selection of local players—sixteen organists (Stuart Muir, Adrienne Campbell, Walter Blair, David Smith, Andrew Macintosh, Glynn Jenkins, Don Grieve, Geoff Boulton, Graeme Stevenson, Lionel Steuart-Fotheringham, Mark Spalding, Richard Bower, Kevin Veal, Lewis McGoldrick, Tim Ridley, Alexander Wallace and Gordon Stewart) plus a number of other instrumentalists (clarinettist Marie Downes and violinists Sue Jarvis and Emily Tang), pupils from the High School of Dundee and the Cecilian Choir. All the players raised sponsor money to support their participation. Thanks to their generosity, and that of visitors on the day (number), we are delighted to announce that we have raised £2400, money which will help to support our stewardship of the instrument and our programme of education and outreach work.
